Tessy Plastics to Create 60 Jobs in $4.8 Million Lynchburg Expansion

Tessy Plastics Inc. plans to invest $4.8 million in its Lynchburg facility, creating 60 new jobs. "With this investment, the facility will serve the medical disposables market, a growing sector within the custom injection-molding industry," Gov. Bob McDonnell said in a news release Friday morning. A news conference has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to discuss the announcement. Tessy Plastics, founded in 1973, began its Lynchburg operations in 1977.
