Harlow, UK; 15 November 2010 - Argenta, a service division of Galapagos NV (Euronext: GLPG), announced today that it has received the CIR accreditation from the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
The accreditation allows French companies to benefit from significant tax relief (Crédit d’Impôt sur la Recherche) on research carried out by Argenta on their behalf.
Dr. Jeremy Billson, Argenta’s VP Business Development, commented: “We are delighted to receive this accreditation from the French Ministry of Research, which will allow our eligible clients to receive tax credits amounting to 30% of their R&D expenditure with Argenta.
