Arcadia Biosciences, Inc. Receives Grant Worth $1.02 Million from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to Develop Resistant Starch-Enhanced Wheat

DAVIS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Arcadia Biosciences, Inc., an agricultural technology company focused on developing technologies and products that benefit the environment and human health, today announced that it has received a Fast-Track Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award worth $1.02 million from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) to further develop wheat with a high level of resistant starch. Under the award, Arcadia received Phase I funding of $144,000 and anticipates an additional Phase II award of $876,000 upon completion of its Phase I work.
