According to Peter Winkle, M.D., F.A.C.G, F.A.C.P., C.P.I., Medical Director and Principal Investigator, “We are doing very well with our ongoing Gout and HIV studies. From a research perspective, I am very excited about increasing our capabilities and would certainly like to do more of these trials.”

In addition to Healthy Volunteers, ACT’s niche is access to special patient populations. Located in southern California between Los Angeles and San Diego, ACT has a unique geographic and demographic advantage. “With our dedicated recruiting team, which includes Japanese recruitment specialists, we are continually updating and increasing our patient database, says Mark Gonzalez, Director of Patient Recruitment. “Expanding our capabilities and meeting the recruitment challenges, has been extremely rewarding for us.”
