Anacor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ANAC) today announced that its Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Keith R. Leonard, Jr. to serve as a Class I director until the Company’s 2017 annual meeting of shareholders.
Mr. Leonard has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and is the President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of Kythera Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company that he co-founded focused on discovering, developing and commercializing drugs for the aesthetic medicine market.
