At the meeting, Dr. Terry Osborn and Dr. Israel Rubenstein were elected to Advanced Life Sciences' Board for a term of three years each. In addition, the shareholders ratified the appointment of Deloitte & Touche, LLP as the company's auditors for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2006.
