(NASDAQ:ACUS) today announced today that Dr. David Altreuter, a director of Acusphere’s Drug Delivery Business Unit, is scheduled to make a presentation on “Microparticle Technology for Imaging and Drug Delivery” at the Fine Particle Society 2006 International Conference on Bio and Pharmaceutical Science and Technology. Dr. Altreuter’s presentation will be the first in a session titled “Recent Developments in Drug Delivery” and will provide an overview of Acusphere’s porous microparticle technology platform and the three current modes of that technology: imaging, pulmonary delivery (PDDS™) and hydrophobic drug delivery (HDDS™). The presentation, to be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, will take place on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 8:00 AM local time.
