10th Edition Of Bioforum European Biobusiness Innovations

May 10, 2011 -- Scientists, businessmen, investors and participants of the biotech industry from 19 countries will meet on May 11-12th 2011 during BioForum – The Central European Forum of Biotechnology and Innovative BioEconomy for the tenth time. BioForum is the most important biotech event in Poland and Central Europe.

This years’ BioForum will be a unique opportunity to become acquainted with the most significant R&D Projects, carried out during the previous year in the leading R&D hubs, laboratories and companies of CE.

During the two days of the trade fair (May 11-12th 2011, in the business conference centre of andel’s hotel, Lodz, Poland) tens of business and scientific presentations will take place. Scientists, technologists and entrepreneurs from Poland and other countries from the region (including Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine) will present their achievements in the fields of:

- Novel chemical compounds and drugs,

- Technologically advanced industrial devices,

- Tools for the medical sector,

- Genetics and molecular biology derived technological solutions,

- R&D Lab Equipment.

Over 100 exhibitors from 10 countries will present their findings and over 100 R&D projects and laboratory services will be presented.

As every year during BioForum, participants will have the opportunity to discover the offers of investment funds allocating capital in biotechnology and pharma entrepreneurships. As always, biobusiness consulting representatives and lawyers specialising in IP protection in science and industry will be present.

Each year, during BioForum, world renowned specialists, researchers and managers – all being great enthusiasts of biotechnology - exchange experiences. Presentations, seminars and discussion panels stimulate the start new research and business projects. New contracts are born and cooperation between scientific communities and biotech firms are fostered.
