(Nasdaq:ZIOP) today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 9,650,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $5.20 per share. All of the shares are being sold by ZIOPHARM. The offering is expected to close on January 25, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions.
