WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Z-Medica Corporation, a medical device company developing innovative hemostatic agents which stop bleeding, today announced a new scholarship fund for U.S. military veterans attending George Washington University. The $100,000 QuikClot Scholarship Fund will support George Washington University’s (GW) Yellow Ribbon Program, which allows qualified veterans to attend GW as undergraduate students and receive full tuition scholarships. Qualified graduate students receive a significantly discounted rate of tuition. The QuikClot Scholarship Fund will support four undergraduate and seven graduate student veterans.
