A new E13m Protein Discovery and Optimisation Laboratory at the Conway Institute in UCD was launched today by Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Michael Martin. It was announced that Wyeth Research is to establish a bio-therapeutic drug discovery research facility in Ireland, with the support of IDA Ireland. The new laboratory will assist in drug discovery in all major classes of biopharmaceutical products.
