This past Sunday, two-time Pulitzer prize-winning journalist Eric Lipton wrote an expanded version of a story that’s been developing since early this year: Emails made available under state Freedom of Information Act requests reveal that Monsanto MON +0.00% and other agribusiness giants have been enlisting academic scientists for assistance in education, public relations, and legislative testimony regarding genetically-modified crops and associated products.
