Seattle, WA – June 19, 2008 – VizX Labs, LLC today announced the release of its latest update to GeneSifter. Available online now, the update includes new microarray data analysis tools, data management options, and simplified raw data exporting. Current GeneSifter users can access the upgrades immediately by simply logging into their accounts.
Today’s announcement continues VizX Labs’ unique program of regular updates to its web-based GeneSifter system. VizX Labs’ update program was put in place to keep researchers ahead of the curve on new developments in statistical analysis, data management, and ever-changing genomic data. The company’s commitment to automatic updates, made possible by GeneSifter’s web-based architecture, frees researchers from time-consuming tasks and enables them to dedicate more of their time to their search for scientific discoveries.
The update includes:
Raw data exporting features that allow the user to export their raw data in as little as two mouse clicks.
Tukey post-hoc analysis allows users to identify where the significant gene expression differences occur in their data
Data management upgrades including support for new Illumina BeadChip data file formats and support of Affymetrix ST GeneChips, and an updated version of BioConductor.
