Victhom Human Bionics Appoints Mr. Nader Kameli as Chief Operating Officer of its Neuromodulation Business Unit

QUEBEC, April 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Victhom Human Bionics Inc. (“Victhom”) announces that Mr. Nader Kameli is joining the Company today as Chief Operating Officer of the Neurobionix business unit of Victhom which is responsible for the development and commercialization of its neuromodulation products.

Mr. Kameli joins Victhom after eleven years of service at Guidant, now a Boston Scientific company. At the Cardiac Rhythm Management unit of Boston Scientific, he worked for six years managing product development, with a focus on implantable devices, and the last four years as the Group Manager of Business Development, identifying and utilizing external opportunities to accelerate internal development and to complement internal know-how. In this position, he managed the group involved in early- to late-stage engagements with outside entities including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, in-licensing, out-licensing and equity investments. Mr. Kameli has over twenty-five years of experience in safety-critical product development and covering product design, quality assurance, project management and business development. He has worked in large companies such as United Technologies and Boston Scientific as well as smaller companies such as Corometrics Medical Systems and Better Packages. Mr. Kameli’s educational background is in electrical engineering and computer science, with emphasis in artificial intelligence, neuroscience and business administration.
