MUNDELEIN, Ill., Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Sysmex America, Inc., a leading medical diagnostic instrument manufacturer and information systems developer, today announced that it has entered into a five-year Cost Per Reportable Result (CPRR) Agreement with the VA Mid-Atlantic Health Care Network, Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 6. “Sysmex America will standardize hematology instrumentation, training, technical support, and service for nine U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs hospitals,” said John Kershaw, President, Sysmex America, Inc. The award was based on both technical merit and competitive pricing. VISN 6 hospitals, located in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, offer veterans a range of health care services including primary care, open heart surgery programs and spinal cord injury units, extended care programs and a polytrauma center.
