SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--U.S. Pharmacopeia, the official public standards-setting authority for all prescription and over-the-counter medicines sold in the United States, has selected Quantros as its partner to manage and expand the footprint of its MEDMARX solution. This partnership will further the establishment of the largest data repository of adverse medication events (preventable medication errors and adverse drug reactions) in the United States and worldwide. Under the partnering relationship Quantros will assume complete management of the MEDMARX application and associated operations, including marketing, sales and client support. In addition to continuing to offer MEDMARX as a stand-alone system, Quantros will integrate the MEDMARX offering with its Safety and Risk Management (SRM) solution for patient safety events. This gives SRM clients the option to access the combined data repository to better identify key trends and improvement opportunities to address medication safety issues.
