MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 13, 2005--IVAX Corporation (AMEX:IVX) (LSE:IVX.L) (WSE:IVX) announced today that the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana has stated that Judge Richard Young will render his decision in the Zyprexa(R) patent case of Eli Lilly and Company v. Zenith Goldline Pharmaceuticals (IVAX) et al on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 5:50 p.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time (Miami Time).
Zyprexa is marketed by Eli Lilly as an anti-psychotic and had annual U.S. sales of approximately $2.8 billion in 2004. IVAX' patent challenge trial on Zyprexa in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana concluded February 12, 2004.
