TytoCare Raises $25M for Telehealth Devices; Forms China Partnership with Ping An

January 30, 2018 -- TytoCare, an Israeli company that offers medical devices for telehealth, closed a $25 million funding that was led by Ping An’s Global Voyager Fund. In addition, Ping An formed a strategic partnership with TytoCare to lead the company’s expansion into China, probably through Ping An’s Good Doctor mobile app. To facilitate on-line diagnosis, TytoCare makes home use products that include an otoscope (ears), stethoscope (heart, lung and abdomen), basal thermometer and digital camera (skin and throat). In 2016, TytoCare received US approval of its $299 home-use stethoscope.
