TransCelerate’s Executive Director of Communications and Engagement Joins SCRS Leadership Council

The Society for Clinical Research Sites announced that Jennifer Burgess, executive director of communications and engagement for TransCelerate BioPharma Inc. has joined the organization’s Leadership Council.

Ellicott City, MD, June 27, 2019 – Today the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) announced that Jennifer Burgess, executive director of communications and engagement for TransCelerate BioPharma Inc. has joined the organization’s Leadership Council. In this role, Burgess will join other members of the Leadership Council, which includes sites, sponsors, CROs and professional solution providers to help guide SCRS’ strategy to carry out their mission of unifying the voice of the global clinical research site community for greater site sustainability.

With a background in the healthcare and human services fields, Burgess joined TransCelerate in 2015 to lead all organizational communication and global engagement efforts. She works closely with the organization’s leadership to execute strategies focused on sharing information about TransCelerate’s initiatives and engaging in collaborative efforts with industry stakeholders. Burgess has worked closely with SCRS in this capacity through the Site Advocacy Group (SAG) initiative to provide meaningful feedback on TransCelerate’s engagement with sites. TransCelerate’s mission is to collaborate across the global biopharmaceutical R&D community to identify, prioritize, design, and facilitate implementation of solutions designed to drive the efficient, effective, and high-quality delivery of new medicines.
