Top National Institutes of Health (NIH) Prize Goes to Three Pioneering Stanford University School of Medicine Scientists

STANFORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2006--For the second year in a row, three Stanford University School of Medicine researchers have snagged one of the National Institutes of Health’s top prizes: the annual NIH Director’s Pioneer Award. The prize provides each winner with $2.5 million over five years to pursue new research directions that are not already funded.
