A new think tank for creating medical products opens next week in Detroit and will become another piece of the biomedical and biotechnology research corridor in the city’s Midtown and New Center areas. The Henry Ford Health System Innovation Institute unites Detroit medical and biotechnology researchers at Henry Ford and Wayne State University with engineering, design and medical students from a half-dozen area schools, the Detroit Free Press reported (http://bit.ly/mQo5X6 ) Friday.
