The VisionMate reader is compact and user-friendly, providing flexible data export formats, tube type readability and tube layout options. Coupled with robust optics, a 1D barcode reading accessory and an automation-friendly design, including recessed lid corners for better robotic placing, the VisionMate reader is ideal for any high throughput application.
The VisionMate reader has the ability to limit data access ensuring maximum security via a password-protected user log-on and can be controlled using on-screen software or by remote TCP/IP access. This enables fast, convenient screening and continuous use with reliable results. With automatic rack orientation adjustment to correctly align barcodes with well positions, the VisionMate reader scans any tube format in approximately one second and can be integrated easily into LIMS, spreadsheets, existing databases or tracking systems with a range of available data files for export. Simplicity of use is further enhanced by the ability to read through plastic film. Sample integrity is preserved by enabling barcoded tubes to be read while stored in a cold room at temperatures down to -40oC. Additionally, the sealed unit prevents frost and condensation buildup under glass to allow reading of ice-cold tubes at ambient temperatures.
