ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, today announced that it will implement an average price increase of 5.3% for certain laboratory consumables products it manufactures, such as specialty laboratory plastic ware and liquid handling products. The pricing change is in response to increases in raw material and energy costs that are being driven by the continued inflationary environment in many industries, particularly commodity materials.
