The French Muscular Dystrophy Association Presents 4th International Congress of Myology, Lille – from 9th to 13th May 2011

Evry, France, January 4th - The French Muscular Dystrophy Association (AFM) is organizing the 4th International Congress of Myology, which will be held from the 9th of May until the 13th of May in the Lille Grand Palais.

During these five days, close to 1,000 participants coming from the five continents will be informed and updated on the scientific and medical advances made in the realm of muscle science and related disorders. Tuesday and Wednesday will be devoted to fundamental science while Thursday and Friday will focus on clinical research.

This congress will bring together international experts of myology and will enable them to show and discuss the therapeutics avenues they are pursuing and share as well as their initial clinical results. This will also be the opportunity to demonstrate the dynamic of myology which in merely 20 years of existence as developed several therapeutic approaches and for which human clinical trial have been initiated.
