TGaS Advisors named four recipients of the first TGaS Award for the Most Innovative Vendors in Biopharma.
East Norriton, Penn., December 14, 2017. TGaS® Advisors named four recipients of the first TGaS Award for the Most Innovative Vendors in Biopharma. Winners are Veeva for Field Operations, ZS Associates for Commercial Analytics & Insights, Red Nucleus for Learning & Development and Aptus Health for Multichannel Marketing. The four were chosen from more than 100 nominations submitted by clients of TGaS and the Emerging Life Sciences Network. The benchmarking and advisory services firm’s Vendor Insights solution fielded the competition in order to identify and recognize the value these suppliers add to life sciences companies.
“Being innovative matters in every area of life sciences,” said Steve Gerard, CEO and Executive Chairman of TGaS. “Our clients tell us that truly innovative vendors perform above benchmark in all areas of measurement.” According to Gerard, vendors scoring high with respect to expertise and responsiveness were more likely to be considered innovative. Technology innovations tended to be the most frequent, followed by novel methods and industry knowledge and expertise.
Gerard also noted the importance of innovative vendors in today’s environment. TGaS data shows that eight out of every 10 dollars pharma spends to support commercialization is with vendors, an increase of 14% over 10 years.
