MUNDELEIN, Ill., March 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Sysmex America has named Jeffrey Black as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for financial management, corporate planning and procurement, said John Kershaw, President, Sysmex America, Inc. In his new role, Black will oversee the company's capital structure, economic strategy and forecasting, company investments, treasury and controllership duties, said Kershaw.
Prior to joining Sysmex America, Black served as the Mergers & Acquisitions Manager and the Finance Director of Delphi Mechatronic Systems (a business line of Delphi Corporation), manufacturer of mechanical and electrical automotive systems. During his 15-year tenure with Delphi, Black led the company's strategic acquisition, divestiture and joint venture projects and the financial organization of a multi-national business unit operating in eight countries. His accounting practices were directed in compliance with corporate policies and US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States) and he maintained a strong control environment to ensure Sarbanes/Oxley compliance. He also served as Budget and Forecast Manager and Senior Financial Analyst, as well as other supervisory and accountant positions.
