Steris has announced a collaboration with St Jude Medical that will focus on helping healthcare providers with the planning and implementation of advanced cardiac laboratories. The companies will be assisting US medical professionals to develop cardiac laboratories that are able to seamlessly share information and inter-operate across the clinical workflow, thus improving efficiency and enhancing coordination of care. Steris will contribute technology such as the Harmony LED surgical lighting and visualisation system and Harmony iQ high-definition surgical integration system, while St Jude Medical will provide innovations that include the EnSite Velocity cardiac mapping device and MediGuide technology.
