MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In collaboration with the NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) 12 undersea mission, independent research institute SRI International will present the first demonstration of an image-guided remote, or telerobotic, surgery at the American Telemedicine Conference on May 11 in Nashville, Tennessee. SRI will commence the demonstration at the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command’s Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) exhibit at the conference.
