REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Spry Health, a leader in health management technologies and remote patient monitoring, today announced that Grant Lipman, M.D. has been named as clinical advisor, effective immediately. Dr. Lipman will oversee the clinical product roadmap of Spry Health’s FDA-cleared (Class II) remote monitoring solution, the Loop System, as well as expansion of the company’s clinical protocols and pathways.

“As we continue to grow the company and distribution of the Loop System, Grant’s contribution will play a critical role in shaping our product roadmap and expanding clinical protocols for our clients,” said Pierre-Jean “PJ” Cobut, co-founder and CEO of Spry Health. “We have been laser-focused the past few months on assisting provider and payer organizations in addressing the patient surge due to COVID-19 through remote monitoring. It’s a new world now in how care is being delivered. Grant has deep experience in developing risk stratification initiatives and operationalizing the delivery of streamlined medical care, which will be instrumental to our clients as they learn to navigate this new healthcare landscape and to our company’s long-term growth strategy.”

“I’m excited to join Spry Health at this time of important growth and evolution for the company,” said Dr. Lipman. “Spry took a very strategic approach towards remote monitoring by developing a medical-grade wearable system that’s patient-centric, yet provides physicians valuable insight to make actionable clinical decisions. Spry Health is applying precision medicine to help solve the unique challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic by using advanced computer modeling to deliver individualized early warning alerts to at-risk individuals. I look forward to helping the company continue to accelerate growth and working with our clients to implement a remote monitoring program for their patients.”
