Byron Hewett is the new CEO of SomaLogic, the privately held Boulder-based biotech company announced Tuesday. Larry Gold, who founded the company in 2000 and has served as its CEO since the start, will continue as chairman and also keep working full-time at SomaLogic. Gold said to reach the company’s commercial goals, “it was clear to me that we needed additional leadership with the deep business experience and knowledge to take SomaLogic to the next level.
