SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 5, 2006--Siemens Medical Solutions today set a new molecular imaging milestone with the addition of its TruePoint(TM) technology to its Biograph(TM) family of hybrid PET-CT systems. Unveiled at the 2006 Society of Nuclear Medicine Annual Meeting (SNM), held June 4-7 in San Diego (booth #318), the new TruePoint PET-CT platform opens the door to the largely untapped potential of molecular imaging by adding 33 percent more axial volume coverage to its PET-CT scanners.
