Partnership provides customer access to largest portfolio of clinical laboratory coagulation products
DEERFIELD, Ill., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Siemens Healthcare (www.siemens.com/diagnostics) and Sysmex Corporation (www.sysmex.co.jp/en/) have announced the signing of a five-year contract renewal for a global supply, distributorship, sales and service agreement. Under the agreement, clinical laboratory customers around the world continue to have access to the largest portfolio of coagulation instruments and tests. The companies will also continue joint product development activities ensuring customers have continued access to new coagulation technology.

The wide variety of coagulation instruments and tests covered in this agreement are used by clinical laboratories to test for blood disorders in patients or to monitor patients on blood-thinning medication. The agreement also includes access to automated platelet function testing.
