Rostec is also prepared to provide turnkey comprehensive equipping of medical institutions, including the design and construction of proton therapy centers, modular PET-CT centers, and the implementation of mobile medicine projects.
“India is our long-time partner, and we have high hopes for expanding and deepening cooperation in medicine, among other things. Here we’re talking not only about simple deliveries of equipment, which is being used successfully in many countries, but also about large infrastructure projects like the creation of a national telemedicine system,” said Victor Kladov, Rostec director of regional policy and international cooperation.
Medical equipment produced by Shvabe is used in dozens of countries from Southeast Asia to Latin America. The Holding’s products are supplied to such high-tech nations as Germany and Switzerland, among others. Neonatal, anesthesiology and diagnostic equipment is in particular demand from foreign customers - that is more than 200 specialized devices.
Shvabe produces a wide range of medical equipment for anesthesiology and resuscitation, neonatology, ophthalmology, cardiology, gynecology, laboratory diagnostics, physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Rostec is implementing a large-scale program to develop its Electronics Cluster in accordance with the Corporation’s Development Strategy. The latter includes annual revenue increase by an average of 17% in ruble terms by 2025, boosting the share of civil products in its revenue to 50%, as well as improving operational efficiency and entering new markets.
