Tokyo, May 11, 2006 (JCN) - Roche Diagnostics announced on May 9 that it will launch AmpliChip CYP 450, its proprietary DNA chip for gene polymorphism analysis, on May 11. The AmpliChip CYP 450, which was co-developed with Affymetrix, can detect polymorphisms in cytochrome P450, an enzyme related to drug metabolism.
