Scientists at Mississippi State University have developed a high-tech breath analyzer to detect the early stages of diabetes. John Plodinec, the director of MSU’s Diagnostic Instrumentation and Analysis Laboratory, and Chuji Wang, an assistant research professor, worked on the idea together and are seeking a patent. They hope for commercial distribution.
