YOKNEAM, Israel & FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Rapid Medical, a company focused on the development of the first class of responsive, adjustable neurovascular devices, announces James Romero as the company’s President, Americas. Mr. Romero will oversee the growth and commercial expansion of the company’s advanced neurovascular technologies to treat hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

Mr. Romero brings 20 years of sales leadership experience for both growth-stage and large medical device companies. He joins Rapid Medical from Medtronic, where he recently served as Vice President of Sales, North America, for the company’s neurovascular division. With his vast knowledge of the stroke market, he led the company through a period of significant growth and transformation, outpacing the market.
