NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - The antipsychotic drug quetiapine (Seroquel) is of limited use in treating agitation or psychosis in patients with dementia with parkinson-like movement disorder."Our study indicates that although quetiapine did not worsen movement in demented patients with parkinsonian features, it did not result in improvement of agitation or psychosis any greater than placebo,” lead researcher Dr. Roger Kurlan told Reuters Health.>>> Discuss This Story
