CAMBRIDGE, MA and LONDON--(Marketwire - April 20, 2010) - Quanticate, a global biometrics clinical research organization (CRO), today announced that it has appointed Harshad Sodha to lead its Clinical Data Management teams in Europe and the U.S. With a focus on customer care, Harshad is charged with expanding the company’s successful data management team and streamlining best practice processes for Quanticate’s strategic functional resourcing services. The appointment reinforces Quanticate’s mission in continuing to expand its clinical trial services offerings to support customers around the world.

Harshad’s career includes more than 20 years in clinical research, most of which has been in the field of clinical data management. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Clinical Data Management Operations for Omnicare Clinical Research. In this role, he managed a large team of clinical data management professionals located across three continents. He was responsible for process improvement and synchronization of data management practices among these groups. Prior to his service at Omnicare, Harshad held various senior level positions at Parexel International in clinical data management and business development. Other experience includes clinical data management roles at a number of pharmaceutical companies, including GSK and Novartis. Harshad holds a bachelors degree in Microbiology from the University of London.
