QBE North America announced the appointment of Theresa M. Zimmerman to the role of Global Risk Solutions Lead for the QBE Integrated Advantage for Healthcare.

Zimmerman to the role of Global Risk Solutions Lead for the QBE Integrated Advantage for Healthcare. The newly created role supports the recently launched QBE Integrated Advantage for Healthcare. This dedicated business unit offers customers access to a single team organized under a devoted leader that comprises healthcare professionals in Underwriting, Claims, Global Risk Solutions, Distribution and Product. Terie is based in Omaha, NE and reports to Paul Isaac, Senior Vice President, Global Risk Solutions.

The specialized business unit goes far beyond a traditional industry vertical approach. It applies the diverse expertise and experience of a team with an average of more than 20 years of experience in the industry to deliver tailored solutions for hospitals, physician groups, medical facilities and managed care organizations.

She is a past president of both the American Society of Healthcare Risk Managers (ASHRM), and the Ohio Society of Healthcare Risk Managers. Zimmerman is a published author, a two-time winner of the ASHRM Journal Author of the Year award and has spoken nationally on risk management, patient safety, legal, and compliance topics.
