Purdue Pharma L.P. to Settle Oxycontin Claims; Agree To Pay $16 Million

Wall Street Journals -- Purdue Pharma LP has agreed to pay $16 million to settle a lawsuit by purchasers of Oxycontin over how it obtained patents on the painkiller in the 1990s, according to a court filing Tuesday.
