(PLx), a privately-held, late-stage specialty pharmaceutical company initially focused on developing its clinically validated and patent-protected PLxGuard™ delivery system to provide safer and more effective aspirin products, announces that Natasha Giordano has been appointed as President and Chief Executive Officer, and as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2016. Ms. Giordano will be replacing Ronald R. Zimmerman, who will remain on the Board of Directors and continue in a role as Founder and Senior Advisor providing support for pre-commercialization activities, regulatory affairs, and business development.
