Patheon Inc. (TSX: PTI) today announced that
based on a preliminary review of 2006 results for the first quarter ended
January 31, 2006, it expects that the previously disclosed difficulties with
Omnicef(R) production at its Carolina, Puerto Rico facility will impact
earnings by approximately 6 cents per share in the first quarter, not 3 cents
per share as anticipated when the Company reported 2005 year end results in
December 2005.
