Palm Beach County commissioners Tuesday deferred the decision on where to put the Scripps Research Institute to the La Jolla, Calif.-based biotech. The commissioners approved writing a letter to Scripps’ board asking it to take three weeks to consider two alternative sites: Parcel 19 in Jupiter and the Briger property in Palm Beach Gardens. A Scripps spokesman said the company would make its decision by the deadline.
