ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - January 07, 2010) - Össur, a global leader in non-invasive orthopaedics, announced today that Lou Ruggiero will be joining the Össur Americas organization as the new Vice-President of Sales and Business Development. Mr. Ruggiero comes to Össur with an impressive background of leadership and ability to achieve results. He was Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at DJO (Vista, CA) from 2003-2007, where he doubled sales growth to $375 million via strategic acquisitions and double-digit organic growth. Most recently, he held the position of Chief Commercial Officer of Stereotaxis (St. Louis, MO), where he was responsible for worldwide Commercial Operations, increasing revenue by 36%. Mr. Ruggiero received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
