Orthofix International N.V., (NASDAQ: OFIX) (the Company) announced today that total revenue for the second quarter ended June 30, 2007 was $123.3 million, an increase of 46% over the second quarter of 2006. This included a record $30.1 million from Blackstone Medical, Inc. (Blackstone), which was acquired in September of 2006. Excluding Blackstone’s revenue, Orthofix’s second quarter sales rose 10% over the prior year. The impact of foreign currency on sales for the second quarter of 2007 was a positive $1.9 million.
