Orbis International Receives PR News Award For Branding

NEW YORK, March 25, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Orbis, a leading global non-governmental (NGO) that works to eliminate avoidable blindness, has announced receiving the 2015 PR News Nonprofit PR Award for Best Nonprofit Branding/Rebranding. The award was presented as the one-year anniversary of Orbis’s rebrand launch approaches and marks the 11th award Orbis has earned this year for excellence in PR, marketing and communications.

After more than 30 years in the field of global eye health, Orbis introduced a new brand identity to better showcase the impact it brings to institutions, communities and individuals around the world. The brand, which launched in March 2014, has since been recognized by several leaders in the communications and marketing community including PR News, Ragan’s PR Daily and others. Building upon the achievements of Orbis’s award-winning 2013 annual report, the rebrand resulted in further accolades for Orbis’s redesigned website, 2014 annual report and informative video entitled Making Vision a Reality.
