SALT LAKE CITY, May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Nelson Laboratories (www.nelsonlabs.com) will showcase sterile packaging validations pertinent to orthopedics at OMTEC 2014, an orthopedic conference at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in ChicagoJune 11-12. Nelson Laboratories will exhibit in booth 812.
In addition to the exhibition, Wendy Mach, packaging section Leader at Nelson Laboratories, will present Sterile Barrier Packaging: Common Causes of Failures and How to Correct Them in the Knowledge Center on June 11 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
“Our discussion will focus on the types of tests available to validate a sterile barrier system,” said Mach. “Though it is not expected, failures can happen while performing these sterile barrier tests. This presentation will take a look at common failures within the tests, provide some understanding behind why the failures happen, and suggest ways to correct and avoid them.”
