FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SRA International, Inc. , a leading provider of information technology (IT) services and solutions to federal government organizations, announced that it has been awarded a competitive task order to provide enterprise messaging and IT infrastructure support services to the National Institutes of Health, Center for Information Technology. The task order, awarded under the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations (CIO-SP2i) contract, has an estimated value of $15 million over six years if all options are exercised.
Under this contract, SRA will help develop, maintain, and upgrade the IT systems used by more than 40,000 users at the NIH for scientific, administrative, and other business applications. Services will include systems engineering, operation and maintenance, software development, systems security, and evaluation and deployment of emerging technologies in wireless applications.
