CLEARWATER, Fla., July 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Clearwater-based minSURG Corporation announced today that they have appointed Tim Gregory as Regional Vice President for TruFUSE(TM) Sales.
Gregory comes to minSURG with 13 years of experience as Regional Vice President for EBI Medical Systems, a division of Biomet, and 15 years with Proctor and Gamble Distribution Company.
“Dr. David Petersen, James Doulgeris and Peter Sontag have done a great job marketing the product and I am ready to help get TruFUSE out into the hands of more physicians,” Gregory said.
Gregory joins William Sukow, who started earlier this month and holds the same position in the Midwest and Northwest U.S. regions. Sukow brings over 25 years of experience in medical device sales and distribution previously working for Synthes, Inc.
In early 2005, minSURG introduced TruFUSE, a unique, intermediate spine surgical solution using posterior facet joint fusion. TruFUSE does not preclude other surgical options and is minimally invasive, making it appropriate to treat certain patients that may not qualify for major surgery. In the 15 months from March 2006 through May 2007, over 80 hospitals have approved and ordered TruFUSE for 1500 spinal levels throughout the United States.
MinSURG is a subsidiary of Orthopedic Development Corporation.
