SHENZHEN, China, Feb. 18 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mindray Medical International Limited , a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices in China with a rapidly growing international presence, today announced that Mr. Jie Liu, Mindray’s executive vice president of international sales and marketing, and Mr. Sheng Ma, Mindray’s president of international sales and marketing for ultrasound imaging systems, will attend the 2008 European Congress of Radiology to be held March 7 to 11, in Vienna, Austria.

The company will exhibit both its new M5, a portable color Doppler diagnostic ultrasound system released in December 2007, and DC-3, a color Doppler diagnostic ultrasound system which will be launched domestically upon receiving SFDA approval and internationally upon receiving CE Mark, which is expected to occur during the first quarter of 2008.
“The M5 is ideally suited for both new and traditional markets such as radiology and OB/GYN as well as Point-of-Care-Testing (“POCT”) centers such as emergency and operating rooms, intensive care units and general practice offices,” said Mr. Li Xiting, Mindray’s president and co-chief executive officer. “The DC-3 is customized for hospitals and clinics looking to replace B&W diagnostic ultrasound systems.”
The company will also display its established DC-6, DC-6E, DP-6600, DP-7700, DP-8800 plus, DP-9900 plus, DP-2200, DP-3300, DP-6600 Vet products in Expo E at booth number 540.
Since 2003, Mindray has exported its diagnostic ultrasound systems to more than 140 countries. These systems are employed in medical fields such as urology, gynecology, obstetrics, abdomen, small parts and cardiology.
